E Liquid "tastes like" car paint

As you can read from the title...that says it all.

I recently registered to this forum with the intention of leaving a few review about my kit and the liquids I buy.
As for my Kit, I think I'm not leaving any review here any time soon, as I am sure that there must be hundreds of us around here using the Kangertech Mini Protank 3 with standard EgoT batteries.

Moving on with a quick explanation of what i do:

Some of you already read my "presentation" post where i say that i'm a "try all flavours" and "test all online stores".
I do this in order to find the flavours that i like and, until now, i only bought from stores that offer E-liquids (10ml) for less that a fiver (some of them have that "3 for £10" that i like (in the end of the day, we all want the best liquids for the lowest price, right?)

This week i bought 5 different flavour from MIST e liquids (misteliquid.co.uk)
Blueberry E Liquid 10ml
Energy Drink E Liquid 10ml
Gob Stoppa
Pink Bubble
Prickly Pineapple E Liquid 10ml

After trying the pineapple (that i really wanted to try) i was hit with disappointment.
The liquid itself (inside the bottle) smells weird... like... some chemical somewhere.
I can only describe that smell/flavour as car paint... you know when you go to a car bodyshop and you get that smell lingering in the air... that mix of paint, acetone and white spirit ?
Right there, my head was already telling me NOT to try it... but... i tried it anyway... and that chemical thing tasted even worse (had to wash my little tank twice to get that flavour out of if)

No need to say that later i tried all the other ones... and they all have that harsh bad chemical flavour in them.

Now...
Is this my tank? (it was a brand new heating element properly primed with liquid before pushing the button)
Later tried to mix it with some liquid that i had in another tank, same thing.
Are this bad Liquids? bad batch, maybe?

You are probably going to hit me hard with this one...but even the liquids from Poundland taste better than this Mist ones.

Maybe the liquids are not appropriate for this tank/Kit?

I really don't know...
all i know is that it's not the first online store that i buy from that come out with the same "car paint" in their liquids.

loads love powwow sauce but to me it tastes like the smell of colombovac pigeon flea spray.
loads like digbys dr jekyll but to me it tastes like the smell of ralgex.

if we all liked the same shit it would be a boring world eh

Although i have no idea what Powwow, colombovac, digbys or ralgex is.

ive never tried the mist before but ive heard its not great.

it has cost me an arm and a leg over the last 11 months to find who sells decent juice out there which you can find in my link below in my signature.
as ned said, tastes are subjective and what one likes the other may find it kak.

ive only ever had 2 lots of juice that tasted of pure chemical and after a long steep they had not changed so they got binned.

tell us what flavors you like and we can point you in the direction of decent vendors.

I can't knock Hangsen. I've been buying some of their high vg liquids since I went subohm. Admittedly some of it is rank, but no worse than some of the shit that I've tried from some well known UK vendors. Although Hangsen is a Chinese company, I understand their juice is actually made in Germany.

As to the original OP, if you're paying £5 for 10ml of liquid then you must be insane. There's no such thing as 'premium liquids'. I'd take that with a pinch of salt.

You'd be well advised to have a look around POTV at the suppliers that many people here are using. You'll discover some pretty amazing UK liquids (and suppliers) for much less than £5 / 10ml.

I liked the smell of Ralgex but wouldn't want to vape it. Same with refined turpentine lol

I ran out of juice in work and picked up some of that Hangsen from a petrol statioN. I had mango, it like you said smelt like chemical. Tasted like shit but in all fairness it done me until I got home.

Oh the other hand like said peoples taste vary, I seriously no not vape anything strawberry, strawberry milk, strawberry custards, strawberry yogurts. Yet most people love it.
