E pipe

I have a vapesmarter pipe. It's obviously beautiful and very well made but I find using it a bit gimmicky. I don't get it out as often as I should even though I'm mtl'ing a lot more recently. I might stick a KFL on it later and have a bit of a puff

The Elitar is the only pipe i own and it is the woodgrain version lol. I do wish i had gone for black now as i am not over keen on the tank it's been over a year since i last used it. What l like about it is its an 18650 job and it's 75w so you can use for a sub ohm or MTL pipe. I end up holding it like a mech some times myself due to it's shape but the 2 reasons i like it are why i would recommend the Elitar, they work well .i think you can change the software to arctic fox as well. My stepdad has one as well but he is a big Swag fan so he's always got one of 2 on the go.

The elitar gets more regular use than my other pipes because it's regulatable and I find the battery / flat bottom make it easier to pick up and go.

I'm not sure if there are a few versions of the woodgrain variety? Because I see pics like this, which look kind of ok IMO:

But then you get this, which is like mine, and which to my eye resembles army camo as much as wood.

Then there is this, which looks different again. Is it the lighting of the shot? I would have presumed so just from the pics, but I couldn't imagine the one I own would looking like this, regardless of lighting. Maybe it's been photoshopped a bit, or maybe yet another version? Fk knows.

i base my pipes on the principle of a traditional tobacco pipe as in one battery equals to one pipe bowl of tobacco

When you say it like that... I like it. It almost makes me want an 18350.

when I smoked pipes it was all about the flavour you will notice 95% of e-pipes are very short stems they is a difference there

Hmm, that's interesting Stu, maybe that's why I'm not enjoying my pipe quite as much as I thought I would. It came with quite a long stem if you remember. I'll get a shorter one and give it a bash.

it depends you need 4 areas

the right juice
The right tank
The stem you like
The setting as in paws up film on crisps and a fine beverage.....relax

I've got some Coyote Coconut in a KFL 19 with an mtl alien that's running beautifully. I've transplanted the tank onto the pipe and the flavour has dropped off a bit. Probably due to the length of the stem, I'm guessing. Definitely going to order a shorter stem or two and experiment a bit more. It's a shame to leave the pipe unused.

Long Stem = Cooler Vape.
Short Stem = pretty much that of a "normal" 510 Drip Tip

Longer stems will make the flavour appear to drop off a tad too. Be it a case of increased distance and increased condensation, I can't say for sure, but certainly when spending 40+yrs smoking Real Pipes I always found anything like a Church Warden Stem was worth avoiding.
OK, I know the rules change when considering ePipes, but personally (Subjective as Hell) I prefer a slightly shorter Stem on a Pipe.

That is a nice stem. If only I had a nice pipe to put something like that on.....
