Member @FlamingKaty recently posted up a statement elsewhere by Fergus (I am assuming he is the person behind the sticker campaign)

"A few months ago we began a campaign to print and distribute stickers as part of the overall effort. A slogan – "E-Cigs save lives" – was chosen after a vote of the members here, and a design was created. Another UKV member – Wes008 – offered to collect donations through PayPal, and set up an account to do that.

At first everything went well, and a batch of 20,000 stickers was printed and distributed. Following this success we aimed to get a second, larger batch out and Wes kept on collecting donations. Then, in late August, he dropped out of touch. I've been doing some sniffing and he seems to have been inactive online since then. Various people have tried to contact Wes through different means, at first using UKV PMs then directly by email. There has been no response to anything since the last week of August.

We don’t know why Wes is no longer responding to messages and it isn’t profitable to speculate on it right now. It may be possible to either locate him or ascertain his situation, and hopefully efforts can be made to do so."

This person has NOT been active on POTV contrary to speculation, since August 2013, we have no idea who this person is, and we hope that members will keep an open eye and relay any information they know, to the people in charge of the sticker campaign.

Wow... That's not an ideal situation... Hope it's resolved quickly and painlessly!

That is very bad news as we need to step up the campaign now. I hope there's no sign he's disappeared with the money as the vaping community has always relied on trust. With so many more now we saw a change at Vapefest with thefts. I don't know if this could be a police matter or not, as it was, I assume, a very informal agreement. Personally I'd hate police involvement but maybe we should accept that the community now has some bad apples. Of course the reason could be innocent, such as illness.

I did wonder why I hadn't heard back about getting stickers for sending out to customers with orders
