I think it's more a case that there aren't that many of us who are even aware of the campaign to sign. The whole thing is so new that only a small proportion of people who vape are even aware that there is even an issue worldwide. Two people at work besides me vape and they are are on starter kits to give up smoking and know nothing of the wider hobby industry surrounding it.

Yeah. You are probably right. I'm a service engineer and do a lot of travelling. The place I was working at today, I got talking to 4 vapers who new nothing about e cigs being banned etc. They were new to vaping and nothing of the current affairs. Sad really. But what do you do? These guys were trying their best to give up the stinkies. And winning. Then some government or European twat tries to take that away from them without them being any of the wiser.

I do security at a university, you have most of them pegged. A few are real and live in the world as it is, most of them are off with the fairies and have to wear slip on shoes because laces are too complicated for them.

This is exactly correct

As hobbyists we often think that we and the other forums are really all the vapers their are.

in actual fact we a very small percentage .. like very very small

there are many many people out there on goes or even cigalikes who go no further than the corner shop to obtain what they need, and ergo no nothing of what is going on.

I knew nothing about this, which is a shame as I started a thread about how we protect our vaping, I think that says everything!!

I want to do all I can to help, but without a lead group or a single organisation at the forefront of vaping who post polls and threads on all the vaping sites, how can we all universally give our opinions and protect our vaping?

Makes sense to me that we should stand as one and try and bring as many people into the loop as possible in order to get more signatures?

I don't think we are going to get amalgamation for many years to come, it is a grass roots industry with grass roots support and that by it's very nature tends to be fragmentary. I think the best thing to strive for at this point is a mutually supporting network. There might be multiple outlets, but a certain amount of cross endorsement would go a long way to creating a more unified front
