Enhancers/additives

I'll echo Lilyred StuPot will read when I'm done 'working'. Will certainly be worth a read, though creating the concentrate may be a step too far just yet mind you!

Top replies all, many thanks have been issued :-)

You should check out Inawera's range ... loads of flavour enhancers and additives in addition to the stock flavours.

The Shisha Chilli is just awesome and it looks just like the tobasco type products I use in cooking

The exotic roots flavour is one I want to get - think the curry notes in Steamgunk Pollution or Mrs Lord's Druide

EXOTIC ROOTS e-concentrate, 10 ml - Inawera Flavors

I am a twit (yes I know you know that :P ) edited to correct the flavours!

I'd love to do the coffee concentrate described, I wonder what you'd use to filter the coffee\pg mix?

This'll probably be an xpost with a faster typer, but you can use coffee filters / very fine nylon mesh (you can get from ebay microscope supply sellers usually) or even filter through several layers of muslin cloth (like jelly cloths or jelly bags used in jam-making - I fold mine a few times then sit it in a fine mesh sieve).

As you are using organic materials, make sure everything is scrupulously clean (sterilise with Milton or Campden tablets for utensils, cloths and so on): PG will inhibit mould growth, but not necessarily stop it altogether.

Thanks!

My girlfriend works in a coffee shop and her boss is always telling us we don't know what's in the stuff we're vaping. I want to freak her out by telling her we're vaping her own coffee beans. :P

@ John175bramley a coarser grind will help with filtering also, as finer coffee is harder to properly filter.

Fair play, the blog post linked was excellent, pretty well explained, and the processes didn't seem too challenging. Getting the requisite time on the stove top may be a different matter, especially as Sundays are my only real days of down time.
