IMO the most worrying thing about ART18 is the restriction of free speech that WILL affect the vaping forums, radio and VTTV.

Basically you will NOT be allowed to say anything positive about Ecigs.

I can get around most if not all of ART18, but would miss this place.

I don`t think they can stop us talking, it may affect how vendors can use POTV though.
Move the site to servers in a country with some semblance of free speech? Site can be hosted anywhere, technically.

7 is more than 10% of 49.

As I understand it there are highly likely to be amendments tabled at Plenary, if nothing else to clear up the labelling issue.

I think there is so much more to this. We are being blocked, ignored, ridiculed, blanked, and silenced. This is not simply ignoring the facts. It's total greed and bullshit to keep the money rolling. I think if we dropped a nuclear bomb directly over the eu building, they would worry about that later and shift office for a few weeks to make sure ecigs still get shafted as to keep the cash flow going. Nothing is going to make them change their ways so it's all we are left to do. As mentioned before, take their dictatorship away from them and stock up. Then by the time we run out, it will have died down enough to get away with illegally importing a batch.

What`s depressing me right now is that this is pretty much the only issue that should matter to us right now and this threads had half a dozen replies from 3 members.

In the meantime everyone seems quite happy to keep chatting about all the devices and liquids they`ll probably soon be unable to buy, at least legally anyway.
This is possibly the most game-changing thing to happen to UK vaping so you`ll have to forgive me if I can`t currently work up any enthusiasm for the latest mech-mods and drippers.

I was quite optimistic yesterday, but today is just depressing the hell out of me.
It just feels like most EU politicians seem quite happy to condemn potentially millions to a slow, painful cancerous death and there`s not a fucking thing we can do about it.

I'm usually straight in on these issues replying and considering and whatnot - I've been buggered up with flu this week though

I get what you mean though there are some who seem content to sit back while this is happening we really need to get a demo together en masse and head to London or even Brussels nothing violent just a peaceful protest

I quite agree and would be more than happy to travel to London or even Brussels to participate in a peaceful protest.
Numbers would need to be substantially higher than the BBC protests were in order to have a meaningful effect.

Sorry to hear you`ve not been well and I hope you are on the mend now.

As an aside I actually thought tonights ITV broadcast was actually not bad at all considering the hatchet job it could potentially have been and the follow-up on VTTV with Chris was pretty good too.
Fair play to him for appearing when it could have gone quite badly for him given the strength of feeling in the community right now.
