I was doing a round of tester liquids last night, did my usual routine including whisking for a minute at the end. Normally this introduces a lot of air into the juice and it normally clears over the course of an hour or so and that's the end of it.

It's still foamy today, like it's got soap in it.

There are two factors that have changed, one is new plastic bottles from fasttech and the other is VG from classikool (which is widely used here from what I could tell prior to ordering). I rinsed the bottles from FT with plain water and gave them a good shake, they were dry before use.

It's an odd one, any ideas?

Only thing I can think of is, after you whisked them did you put the lids back on? I heard somewhere that leaving the lids off allows some of the chemicals to leave the liquid which enhances the flavour. Maybe whisking it and putting the lid back on caused the chemicals to build up but have no where to go?

Thanks but I'm not sure that's it, the lids normally go straight on and it's been fine previously. I was thinking it's either dodgy bottles or the VG is slightly thicker and is holding the air better, not letting the bubbles pop.

The strange part is, I did three testers and 2 of the 3 have the foam, one of them is fine. The only difference between those is the 'ok' one has EM in it, ratios are the same etc.

No idea about op question But I wold worry about residues or leaching from crap bottles if nobody came up with a better theory.

As to what iroverrated says I have followed several threads where professionals have said not to do this.I have also heard this advice comes from back in the early days when there were chemical odors that you wanted to get rid of .

Exactly, I've seen some people that swear by leaving the lids off, and then other people say it makes absolutely no difference. So it's hard to distinguish what's better.

If you're sure this isn't the case this time though, maybe you've got a bad batch of something?

what is different in the non foamy mix?

multiple flavourings and 2% em (in the non foamy mix), everything else is the same. The foamy ones are single flavour, no EM.

Just trying a warm bath/ultrasonic treatment.

From what I've seen it's good to swap the air out a couple of times a day when the juice is fresh but if you leave the lid off completely you run the risk of drawing any crap in the air into the liquid. That's the 'for and against' argument as I understand it.

I hope I haven't got a bad batch of something :(

I am out of ideas except to redo the mixes in different bottles.I do not think the vg could be so thick as to not clear over that time.
Glad they are not my mixes. It would really bug me.
Could redo mix Shake after every ingredient and see when the foam comes.

Yep, it's bugging me ;)

It smells fine but one of them has calmed down a bit after the ultraSon treatment, still not right though.
