Can anyone recommend a good EM please,tried the crystals,mixed correctly I may add and it was shite! Thanks guys

did not know there was good and bad em answers will be interesting. i have only bought it once 10% in pg it is ok cant fault it.

It is what it is, it's only an enhancer mixed at 10%. Overused it tastes too sickly, underused it doesn't taste of much. If you've already got strong flavours it might not come through at all or it might come through after a few weeks.

Mix my own custards in various guises,have used chefs a while back then went on the crystals thinking better value for money,perhaps I may have worded my question wrongly. The chefs tasted very sweet and was using it at 2% but the crystals tasted not so nice! Just wondered what you guys use[emoji106]

TFA Cotton Candy is 10%Ethyl Maltol if you are ever stuck and cannot find.
It is Ethyl Maltol with a different name.
I like as an enhancer but never tried any other EM brands etc.

tfa have a product called smooth they advise 1% added for mute flavours
tried it once and was impressed is it another name for em
