To be honest, I bought this eVic VT cos I liked the look and the colour of it. Is it any better than a Nauti on an iStick for regular 'non sub ohm' vaping? Personally I still think that a Nauti on an iStick50 wins out but I'm biased. This eVic VT looks the dogs bollocks and no mistake. It is a lot heavier and boxier than an iStick50 but it gives an airier vape. The juice tastes exactly the same as it does in my other mods. Downside for me of it is that it vapes far too hot in VT mode even with the temperature turned down as far as it will go it's a right 'Vindaloo Vape' . Almost fried my tongue so it did. Hence I'll not be using VT mode again any time soon. In VW it is OK for me. Will be interesting to see what the sub ohm lads make of this piece of kit, it's probably designed more with them in mind anyway.
Could I recommend it to someone who vapes like I do for flavour and convenience and doesn't do 'sub ohming'?
Nope. It's nowhere near as easy to adjust as the iStick. You have to juggle about with the firing button AND a knob on top -at the same time- to change any settings. It is well complicated. That said the instruction book is good. It's just a lot more to have to do to set it than on an iStick. It leaks quite a bit too, plan on having kitchen towel handy. Suspect it comes via the wick but with the air holes fully open the juice seeps out, nothing, so far; cures that so it'll be standing in a saucer tonight. Fair enough; it does a lot more than an iStick but if you don't want all the bells and whistles then an iStick is probably still yer man.
Is it worth the (with discount code it came to change out of £80 squids posted) money?.. Definitely, for looks and style alone this is a beautiful piece of design art.
