I can't remember which way around it is now but (I think it was) @VaperCaper who said you can use an evod head in a pro tank but not the other way around??... Or is it that you can use a pro tank head in an evod but not the other way around?
Edit; And it's not a stupid question in the slightest. Very good one, IMO
No you can't use an Evod head in a ProTank (at least not the ones I've tested)
You can use a ProTank head on an evod but Evod heads (which have shorter centre post tops) are slightly larger diameter for the centre post that connects to the battery and it can cause shorting out problems.
It might work - if you already have some it's worth a try, though if you are buying more heads then buy ProTank heads which definitely fit both.
Two of my protanks have evod heads in them at the minute. Both working just fine (I've just checked to be sure)
There's a decent gap between the centre post and the negative surounding it in the 510 threading. I suppose it's possible that there's different batches around with slight manufacturing differences so your millage may vary.
A short on your atty is no laughing matter so tread carefully.

I thought this may be of use as I've seen them for £1.95 each elsewhere.
Please note that Mr Kraken's young baby is in hospital at the moment so may not be able to process any orders for a week. There is a message to this effect on his website.
I've found that it depends on where you got your evods from.
I have 4. Three of which where brought from somewhere but I've forgotten where. They have short posts in them, and don't fit me protank. The other one came from " Myepack ". That has a long post in it, and it does fit the protank and the davide.
My protank and davide long post heads, fit all my evods.
PS. I should learn to look more closely. Mines a protank, not a protank 2
