Shouldn’t be using 72mg nic if you don’t know what you’re doing

So I've been adding 4.2ml 72mg to 100ml no extra base mix added, how far was I off 3mg? Gotta be very close.

The 72mg chart is close enough for me, I'm used to filling my 5ml syringe to x amount.
So I havent been getting exactly 3mg in my 100mls what probly 2.9mg I dont add any base mix to get to 120ml, just take me out and shoot me

Unless you decant it into a bigger bottle.
60ml shortfill with 50ml 70/30 e-liquid, add 20ml pg base gives you 70ml at 50/50.

That was the point I was about to make. All this trying to get the PG/VG ratio and Nic level where you want it by adding more and more liquid will just make the flavour taste more and more washed out the more you dilute it.

I dont buy that many shortfills, only as a treat now and again, as I mix from scratch. I find the majority of shortfills I've bought quite strong in flavour so I can get away with thinning them down a bit to increase the overall quantity of eliquid I've got. Before you say it, i know......once a tight arse always a tight arse.
