Initial thoughts on the Lost vape, Therion 75c BF.
As stated above this was sorted by the lovely Maggie
@Healthcabin. Hopefully we will be able to sort out a 250c model too to compare the firmware.
Anyway back to the mod at hand.
Build quality is as you'd expect first class. The screen is level and well fitted and there's no button rattle whatsoever which is excellent as due to it being the new DNA board you have an extra central button. 510 is perfectly level with the mod top and 25mm rda' s fit beautifully and look right, if that makes sense. The 510 is fitted with screws which gives extra stability. The pin is flexible and I've had no issue's with all my rda' s making contact. Sounds daft but you'd be surprised how many struggle to make contact these day's.
The ebony wood inserts are solid and I think add a little class. That said you can go for a carbon fibre version if you like a more moden look.
The back panel of this one is the yellow alligator skin which isn't to my taste but luckily you can order all of the styles from healthcabin for around £12 each. (I've a tan leather one enroute). The back fits securely and without gap. This is where your extra cash is going. The seems and finishes are well thought out and superbly finished.
When I first used the squonk bottle I was a little disappointed as I was getting air ingress. I had a look at the bottle and realized it was my stupidity. You don't need to over tighten just match the two dots on the lid and collar of the bottle and it's perfectly airtight and as good as any bottle I've used. The bottle itself is soft but appears tough.
This mod certainly has some weight behind it and although it's chunkier than the inbox or killer I usually use it's still very comfortable in hand and reassuringly heavy.
All in all the mod is first class but it's the new board where we are really going to see the difference. The colour screen looks fantastic and soon becomes intuitive to use. Tc appears to be spot on so far with the default settings and the ability to quickly adjust the power boost in wattage mode will be a boon for big coil users. The downside is the colour screen comes at a cost. Battery life. It definitely goes through cells faster than the old 75 board and that wasn't exactly super efficient. On the plus side fogstar have just started stocking the new wave of high amp/high mah batteries which would suit this mod perfectly.
I am loving this so far but I do feel the board would be shown of best in the standard twin cell therion.
More to come as I get deeper into the settings and check cell longevity with the new cells.
