Fasttech taifuns

Anyone else noticed that fasttech have taken down all their taifuns? You can still get replacement parts but none of the whole devices. I'm not that bothered personally as I've just returned 3 of them to china because of shoddy quality. Its all about the orchid clones for me now.

Hadn't noticed, until you pointed it out just now. Looks like I ordered my GS just in time (arrived on monday).

Hopefully no-logo versions will be appearing before too long.

I hadn't noticed they've been withdrawn, but not surprised; I've got two leaking horribly (the blue and the gold). The o-ring on the deck which should hold the sleeve, doesn't - it's too thin.

+1 for the Orchid v3; but the Fasttech v2's screws cut through wire like a knife through butter. Still, I've ordered the v4. It's a bit of a lottery, Fasttech. Maybe I'm just addicted to little yellow parcels...

Same here, love the V3, but my V4 should be here any week now.

Taifuns are now back on FT; minus the name (now just "GT") and the logos. Pity they don't show which they've got back; my old silver "B" is good, but the blue and the gold...

Edit: ah, they're not the straight Taifun clone, they're the GT plus air flow control ring version

Just ordered the "new" GT-S version for no other reason than that their TF's got discontinued on the day that I wanted to get another one. Air Flow Control is, for me, not much of a bonus, and pretty pointless, seeing as "more air" is the thing with the TF rather than less, so I'll be ripping out the air tube anyway, and only use the largest air hole..

I use 3mm voodoo wool with .28 kenthal and 5/6 wraps, never leaks and perfect everytime
