anyone have any idea how easy it is to take one of these badboys to bits? i got one in the post the other day and i can't get the taste of oil out of it. i've had it sat in soapy water and all sorts. i'm guessing it's got cutting oil trapped in where the insulator is. i was just going to vape through it but the taste isn't going anywhere.

Does it have a screw in the 510 connector? If it has, undo it and the centre pin should push out, though will likely be a tight twat.

yeah it does, i managed to take everything barring the insulator off last night and soaked it in washing up liquid and water again. it still has a hint of wd40 to it. it also doesn't have anywhere near the flavour of my trident v1 clone. i'm disappointed.

I bought a bottle of Lemon juice and put a good squirt of that in with some water in the Ultrasonic bath for 10 minutes.

i'm thinking of sacking the whole atty off dude, the taste's nearly gone but the flavour from the juice is practically none existent. i think the air hole on the v2 is too high compared to the v1 and the air isn't hitting the coil right.

i'll probably just order a trident v1 in stainless. i only bought the v2 because the v1 i had was gold plated and it looked shit on my private v2 clone once the brass tubes on it dulled. i thought since i was buying a matching stainless one that i would upgrade and it's no better. i've got 4 drippers and 2 mech mods now and i'm determined not to get caught up in this shinyitus malarkey.

I have heard the V1 outperforms the V2

I had a V1 and it was a great dripper, never tried the V2.

The plumeveil, zenith v2 and origen v2 are my go to drippers now!
