What thickness wire are you using?
I use .32mm when I rebuild my protank heads.

Torch the shit out of it till it glows orange. Then let go of the fire button (important !!!! ) then quickly squeeze the coil together with pliers.

Repeat.

It won't work with pliers, but it would work with needle nose tweezers. I could have done with the set I have on order when I made my first coil this afternoon. It was kinda spring like rather than the nice tight microcoil I was aiming for, but who cares it works

Doesn't have to be fired when the coils in the head. Could even be torched manually, with fire.
