Finally made my first coil

Haha. I told my wife the same" it'll save us some cash". Just forgot to mention I wanted to tinker, lol

I'm pretty sure it will save money. Just need to really get to grips with finding a way to sort out the springiness in the coil itself.

Torch the shit out of it before you wrap it.

What thickness wire are you using?
I use .32mm when I rebuild my protank heads.
 
Torch the shit out of it till it glows orange. Then let go of the fire button (important !!!! ) then quickly squeeze the coil together with pliers.

Repeat.

Don't think this would work for an Aerotank head!

It won't work with pliers, but it would work with needle nose tweezers. I could have done with the set I have on order when I made my first coil this afternoon. It was kinda spring like rather than the nice tight microcoil I was aiming for, but who cares it works :D

Doesn't have to be fired when the coils in the head. Could even be torched manually, with fire.
