Hi From Nottingham..

I am new to this forum as you may have already realised, so please try to bare with me..

Here is my question to all of you in the vaping community; I will be purchasing my first e cigarette
As of tuesday and only wanting an entry level kit, I would like to ask if anyone recommends either Gammuci or E lites? For a battery, a usb charger and one carttomiser it will cost equally £15.00. Refills for the E- lites brand are slightly more pricy at 2 cartomizers for £8.00 as opposed to 3 for the same price with the Gammuci. The extra few pounds here and there isnt an issue, so all I really want to know is which brand would be preference to any of you guys?

I have previously tried a Gammuci, I cant say I was impressed, but I wasnt dissapointed either, but they seemed to lack the throat hit and the vapour wasnt particulary Dense. Brands such as those from websites like totallywicked, I have tried and enjoyed more, but I am set on the gammuci or Elites now both for ease of use and cost until im sure vapinf is for me!

Thanks in Advance

Declan

I haven't used either of those. I used a similar type many years ago and it didn't work for me.
Honestly, considering the trend I am seeing, and if you do not mind going for something a bit bigger.... Consider an Ego Starter kit (with CE4/5). Usually round £20 for a basic one with some juice chucked in. For an extra fiver you get a proper vaping piece of kit based on my experience with cig-a-likes.

Thankyou for the very prompt response, have heard the same sort of opinions from others about the cheaper store bought models, will certainly look into your suggestion as it sounds likely this would be a good choice

Thanks again,

Declan

Hi Vapes98, and welcome to POTV. Regarding the above, if you are determined to stick with those, I don't really have to experience to comment, except that I had one E-lite, and just personally, found it to be pants.
Then I got a starter kit from jacvapour, with a couple of extra batteries, and they pretty much rock, as far as cigalikes goes, and have a great discount that can be found at ecig reviews.
Still, you have a few days to check out your options, ego batteries are a decent power and battery life step above ecigalikes, that you may like to consider now or in the future, and I would personally recommend ego spinner or twist batteries, as you can change the temperature with a turn of a button on either of them, which will give you different taste sensations.
Check out either the Marketplace, or Discount Codes links for a variety of devices, vendors, and prices to have a gander at, if you want to, and good luck ;)

There is a stigma attatched by "non-vapers" to larger kits. (By this I mean anything that isn't a cig-a-like, like a gamucci etc). I was going to recommend a Vamo, for the first time ever. I would normally recommend an Ego kit for a first timer, and to be honest, in your case I still will. Welcome to vaping, and you have picked the right place to be new, you won't find a friendlier, more helpful bunch anywhere.

Hi MT, sounds a familiar view on E-lites! Beginning to be weaned away from them now as the other options available are sounding much better! Will look into the ones you have mentioned and see what I fancy, thanks for the info and the good luck;) will post back here with any updates!

That seems true.. will take a look at both of your suggested buys and compare as many as I can! + thats already apparent:), you all seem very knowlegeable and willing to help, couldnt have chosen a better forum!

Thanks for your reply

Hi Vapes98, yeah that looks good for a starter kit. I started on the e-lites which were OK flavour wise but worked out about the same price as ciggies. Don't think you can go wrong with an ego and ce4 :)
