First go at parallel coils, 0.16 ohms and chucking like crazy

Turned out a hell load better than I expected. Coils are single stands of wire almost like sleeper coils, but not true sleeper.

I'm so impressed I'll be building a similar pair of coils in a few minutes time.
Though I'll be using 0.5mm kanthal so here's hoping there is enough room inside my RDA

That's 0.5 wire on the one I built. Just enough room and a very tight fit through the posts.

Please excuse the crap iPhone photo, but his fine thread just inspired me to have a go at my first dual parallel build. I only have 0.32mm Kanthal but I'm chuffed as nuts with myself. Thanks for the inspiration, SouthBay!

I tried it on my Dreadnaut 26650 battery, fucker was shite as I could walk the dog a few miles before it had heated up. When I next do a rebuild on the Zenith, I'll give it another try(Zenith is 510 so fits my lipo powered box mods)although twisted 0.5mm melted the Zeniths insulator.
