Sooooo! Got the kit today, drilled arty hole and fire button hole, perfect! Drilled hole for the voltmeter and slipped so fucked that up, new box required! Then I though I would start putting the wiring together ready for the new box, battery negs joined and I was chuffed (little soldering experience) attached pos wires independently winning I thought! Fuse one, jobs a goodun fuse two hell yeah wires from fuse well in! Then one of the fuses snapped (cue expletives enough to make eminem blush) I did however manage the very neatly solder the 15k resistor between legs 1 and 3 on the mosfet hiding it away next the the black box of the unit
So I now need to order another fuse too. I went for the small square white fuses but thinking the yellow paddle type ones might be a better bet! What's your thoughts?
I need more patience and a bit more YouTube time I think lol

Sounds like you've been getting on well mate. Don't be disheartened by a little mis-hap or two. I used the small white 15a fuses for my mosfet box. Out of all the soldering (my first time soldering) I found the fuses the most difficult.
I thought I'd have most problems soldering all the wires to the mosfet, but it was the fuses that had me cursing!

The PTC fuses are a bitch to solder, they're great and better than the other resettable fuses, when you're using 16-14 AWG wire they'll have you cursing as they do frequently when I'm building.
