Looking at either Evod starter kit x2 or a CE5 x2? Will either be okay or is there a clear winner?

have looked at some earlier suggestions so will make sure I look around for the best deal. I could sit here all week and still not know what to get and I just need to get started lol.

Rather than post all over the place just a few of other questions?...

1 - will I want an upgrade after 4-weeks?
2 - does this really work out cheaper than smoking? I could spend a fortune looking at some of this kit.
3 - what's a drip tip?

Thanks for your time guys.

ce5 is pretty old hat now, the evod is the better of the two by along way, also check out the mini protank kits

I'd say as a relative newbie myself that an EVOD kit wins everytime against a CE5 but as has been said also check out the Mini Protank II kits.

1. You will defo want to upgrade if you get a CE5. An EVOD or Mini PT will last you for longer.
2. Much cheaper if you want it to be - eGo battery x2, EVOD x2 is the initial outlay and will be about £20. After that it'll just be replacement heads - about £1.50 each and will last about 1-2 weeks. Juice - £10-£15 for 30ml and that would last me about 2 weeks. You can of course spend more getting upgraded batteries and tanks but that is optional.
3. A drip tip is the bit you put into your mouth. It cannot be removed from an EVOD but I've had no problem with this. Many other tanks have replaceable drip tips so you can customise. If you mean in relation to a dripping atomiser then this is slightly more advanced than newbie vaping and something I have not ventured into myself (Yet!).

Hope this helps.

1. An EVOD kit hands down (get 1.8ohm replacement heads)! It is versatile enough to last a long time depending how technical you become in the future and does produce impressive results. An ego twist or vision spinner looks the same but will offer more flexibility and is a very reasonable price!

2. Depends how much you smoke and how badly you become infected by shinyitis (Buying fever experienced by most of us!). Most probably yes and especially if cigarettes were your poison.

3. A mouth piece that is attatched to a device and not to be confused with dripping (type of atomiser).

Hope this was helpful and any questions - don't be afraid to ask

Good luck

The Evods are great. Buying Vaping kit becomes addictive. The drip tip is the bit you put in your mouth, not removable on the Evods but they are on the Protank 2 for example. I quite like the Evod tips.

Thanks everyone. Have ordered the Evod starter set (twin) and a selection of juices with different nicotine strengths.

I am impatient and impulsive by nature so I guess I won't be saving much cash for a little while. Have already got my next purchase in mind and will try the mini pro tank and a selection of juice from Kraken......will try to wait for at least a few weeks before parting with more cash.

in the meantime there seems to be shedloads of info to go through on here, could do with a week off work to read it all. Cheers.

Hahahaha, has, sorry couldn't help my self. Very sensible questions etc until you stated : try to wait a few weeks before parting with more cash". Bet you pound to a penny you don't do it. Only way you will manage that is to turn the computer off and not read POTV.

1. you'll want an upgrade after 4 hours :)
2. it's certainly better for your health but not for your wallet if you get hooked up to buying tons of vaping stuff
3. dripping is a technique where you "drip" a few drops of liquid straight onto the atomiser coil. Pro vapers say it's so much better. I think it just burns my throught :) the drip tip is a special tip you use in drippin atomisers that makes it easier for the user to drip onto the atomiser without having to disassemble the whole thing.
