What's new

First real go

I'm leaving it up at .2ohm. It works well there, why break it?

I wanted to go lower and didn't see a reason why it wouldn't handle it as long as the button makes constant contact.

I have higher it back up to .24 on this build as it is plenty for me. I'm thinking of getting the revolver for playing as it has a lovely switch.

I knew I was pushing it at .2ohm, it just vapes really nice as it is, good flavour and decent clouds. The button can get hot if you don't keep on top of it, as Raguri says, its too lightly built to pull serious current, you do also want a proper connection to the cell rather than a magnet. It's something I'm looking at on a project I'm messing with.

The thing is, mechs are already banging against the cell limits, something I dont personally like to do, so my feeling is to do as VeeDubZ and Chegs are doing and look towards box mods and lipo power, li ion round cells are toys compared to what you can pull with a half decent lipo.

I was thinking about modding the button a while back so it didn't contact through the magnets. I was going to add a ring of metal around the magnet on the battery with the rubber ring around the added ring. That way it wouldn't knacker the magnets either.

Its one option but there's no getting aeay from the fact the buttons contact point on the tube is tiny, thats what heats it up if you dont grind it into the tube or polish the switch area religiously. What you want is a straight sided button lapped to the tube or switch assembly, so it contacts all the way round. You cant do it on the fortune mod as there's not the space for a tall enough button for it not to jam in the tube.
