first Ti build?

i got some 26awg vaccum annealed Ti from a fellow ape and thought id give it a go tonight in my crius so dual coiled 8 wraps 2.5mm comes in at 0.18ohms wicked it with minimum resistance pulling the cotton bacon through and juiced it and set the TCR to 370...............................BUT im finding that even at 500F the temp protection is kicking in too quickly and its only at around 560f that i gan take a decent draw on it. Now this may be entirely normal and im just used to the lower temps i run NiFe at. So is 560f within normal parameters?

It sounds high to me, but so does your TCR - I thought Ti was 350. If it's not burning the juice and it's vaping well then it's probably not a big deal. What do you normally set to with NiFe?

steam engine has the tcr at 366 i thought if i bumped it a bit it might delay the temp protection kicking in Normally have the NiFe at 470f

Yeah, sorry, I wasn't paying attention. 320 is for Dicodes NiFe30 (Resistherm), maybe some others too I don't know, 500 for Stealthvape NiFe30.
