Looks stunning. How long did the torching process take? I'd love to hear more details. Any issues with fitting the bits back together afterwards (threading etc)?

The torching doesn't take long once it starts to change colour, and it is a very quick change from yellow to gold to brown to purple to blue so you have to be very careful not to over do it.
It was difficult to get the ends of the tubes an even colour with the rest of the tube as where the sockets went into the tube it was taking a lot longer to heat up, but I quite like the transition from purple to blue to gold.
The only issue I had with putting it back together was I had the socket at the switch end of the tubes a bit too tight so when I heated the tubes the threaded section where the lock ring and switch go flared out slightly meaning I had to sand the end of the tube down to get the switch to fit on. Lesson learned just won't tighten the sockets on so much next time.

I might try and source a couple of spare tubes to have a go with. Don't know if I have the nerve to start with my nem.

Once everything is setup in the drill ready to go the torching itself only takes several minutes. There is a video on YouTube of a guy heat treating a dripper shroud. Gives you a good idea of how long the process takes. Also bear in mind the thickness of the metal plays a big part, and as the nemesis tubes are quite thin compared to some mods and atty's it's quite a quick one to do.

cheers adam

so a polished tube should still come out shiny and a brushed tube matt?

Gasped when i started reading about the sacrificed nemi

Jaw hit the floor when i saw the result. Lovely job :D

My god that is a thing of pure beauty...
I'm eyeing up the launcher V2 clone now... I'm tempted...
