Flooding Cleito EXO

I just got this tank today and after priming the coil and securing it tightly I filled the tank, waited a few minutes, and hit it a couple times to restore negative pressure. At this point the tank slowly drains liquid into the air intake so hitting it sounds like I'm hitting a bong or slurping through a straw. I am going to try to replace the coil however I feel like it is a defective bottom o-ring? I got this tank after my original Cleito leaked juice out of the air holes quite erratically (sometimes leaking, sometimes not for a while). Does anyone have any tips? Much appreciated.

Maybe slightly over priming have you tried going up a bit in wattage to dry it a bit then lower when ready. I normally do this if getting a slight flood on various bits of kit. Also I flick the excess juice out at the same time.

The main culprit could be a batch of bad coils but try above to see if that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried raising the wattage to compensate for the flooding/gurgling to no avail. Also flicked/wrist whipped it out (wrapped in a paper towel) which solves the problem for a couple hits, just enough time for the juice to flood in again within a 2 to 4 minutes :/ Upon refilling the tank, the juice levels quickly disappear and with this EXO, the air holes on top, it won't leak out but fills the passages until--I assume--the pressure of the liquid has equalized inside the tank and air intake section.

Really hoping it is just bad coils. I'll report back as soon as I can.

Edit: I also allowed the vape time to cool so it wasn't just the juice getting too hot and thin. It still floods the air intakes using 70/30 juice at room temp.

Try replacing the o-ring as mentioned in the thread you found just replace it completely and see how that goes also. Make sure you don’t over tighten when you doing these things up last year I had a leak issue and it was caused by me over tightening of all things

I will give it a go. Thanks again for your time.

When you say be careful about over tightening, do you mean the coil?

A pleasure.

The coil and the tank, I had squashed the o rings to much and so caused myself problems that way

Sounds good. I'm pretty damn frustrated messing with this for hours so I'm going to follow your advice tomorrow and report back.
