Fluctuating ohm reading.

Finally get the Kayfun 4 to stop leaking and the ohm readings are jumping all over the place.

1.2 coil that jumps from there upto 4.8 and everything inbetween......Ke?

Any easy fixes?

It isn't making a connection, or your mod sucks... or the spring in the Kayfun is dodgy.

I seem to remember reading somewhere about the 4 having a dodgy spring, ta.

If not done so already put it on your mod or ohms reader and tap the coil a bit to see if it a leg not tightened down.

If all ok i would look at the spring

Is it a Sigelei ohms reader? Or on a regulated mod?

Regulated mod, Ohm reader is in the post, maybe

All the coil screws are tight.

I had these issues with my kf4 ordered an original spares kit from cloud nine and it solved it! Basically I replaced to spring with a gold plated one

Yes, I saw that thread, thanks anyway.

When I can be arsed I'll sort the spring out, shouldnt be too difficult.

That gold plated spring doesn't fix it for long,I got upgraded spring from c9v and all was great for about 2 weeks now it's back to the ohms taking the piss,I've had the last laugh tho now gone springless now all is fine
