The time has finally come! After months of coding and styling we are just about ready to launch the new and improved Planet of the Vapes V2.
We are moving to a more stable system that will be better able to handle the rapid growth we are seeing.

Tomorrow morning the forum section of the site will be taken offline and the new site prepared from the latest data. Obviously this does mean that you should not lose any data but due to the sheer size of the forum it will take a while for the data to be imported and sorted in the new system.

I'd like to thank everyone that has been involved in testing the new forum and I hope you all like it!

A final note: upgrading something of this size can cause issues that we may not have spotted in the testing process, we've been as rigorous as possible but something always slips through the net. Please bare with us as we try to fix any issues that pop up, we'll do our best to be running perfectly as soon as we can!!

See you soon on a new shiny system,

OS

This is brilliant news! Glad to have helped in some small part. Can't wait now...

I've got 6 hours in the tattoo chair....I guess I'll have to talk to the artist instead of you lot :)

OMFG what we gona do while the site is offline. Means we have to talk to people, face to face, you know 'interact' noooooooooooooo!

Does this mean I'll have to spend the entire weekend figuring out how to use the new forum?...

Well that's going to be my excuse for sitting in front of the computer all day...:D

Most of the time I'm on app lol i'll need to get to the laptop for a while thou

I would like to quash the rumours that China have been granted the rights to run the new improved forum. Your details will continue to be as safe as they were when I was selling them on a stall at Doncaster market.
