Seconded. It's hardly a ground breaking design it wouldn't be difficult to clone/mass produce at all.

Looking at the internals I wouldn't be surprised if it could be cloned to a high standard for peanuts.

I wouldn't bother... on principal. This is what happens when you skimp out on infrastructure and devs. Is that reflected elsewhere? In my experience as a dev, often yes.
