Is there something in CBD oil that gives a different effect from actually smoking weed?
I suffer from chronic pain too, and smoking weed didn't help it.

For me it's more about being able to use cbd in place of the 'other stuff', IE; I cant ride my motorbike when on the other stuff or walk the streets using it. I suggest you look at edibles instead of smoking the stuff, you need a high indica strain, which gives a body high over the usual head high. Cbd also comes in many forms, I was lucky that I found a brand that worked well for my pain, been using the same it since 2016.
