Postie delivered shiny bits and Evolv DNA 30D yesterday...
Planning on building a brass/mahogany box/grippy type mod with twin AW IMR 18650 batts and custom battery holder
with 24mm recessed 501 connector. Magnetic cover (already have powerful rare earth magnets).
want it to be fairly user serviceable so charges off board.
Question is want a fuse from batts to DNA board was thinking of glass quickblow fuse ..... any suggestions ?
TIA.

You may have trouble finding a 12A quick blow fuse (not listed in my fuse chart) but a 10A fuse (5x20mm) will blow at 18A approx after 10 sec.

It may be, that the battery he Hana uses is only rated to 7 amps?
I'm more of a mech guy, much simpler. But, if I had to believe anything, I'd believe the people who actually made the board :P

More likely just a blatant mistake as they specify sony batts with max output of 30A for max output.....still, am going with 15A time delay type fuse and holder I found in work.
Thanks guys for taking the time to post, was really more concerned about batt. damage than anything.

IF shit happens the board will be toast long before any fuse can save it, in fact the thing that blows the fuse if anything at all does would be the board demanding the excess current. and as an electrical engineer by trade you should know how to rate a fuse and how to select one, although my choice would be a self resetting PTC fuse of the kind Atmizoo use in their Bug safety fuse for Mech Mods...
