Review Generals juices

Hi all
This is my first review of anything.
Normal blerb nothing to do with the vendor all the opinions are mine and mine alone you can read them but you cant have them

First noticed the Generals juices post "hmmm" I thinks to myself "lets give them a go "

I cant cope with PG I itch like a pox doctors nurse (nice image that). I sent an e-mail to Gav at general juices asking about the PG/VG ratio alas his normal is 70/30 not the 80/20 that I enjoy. Sad another vendor I cant use.
BUT no next day I had an email from Gav said he had some spare time at the weekend so he could make up my juice at my ratios. I pick myself up off the floor a happy chappy. I now have the 2 juices lt limey and fusiler fruitbowl these will be steeping for 2 weeks (possibly not )
Hand written note on the back of the steeping information nice personal touch
emails positive and prompt
delivery good
web site good
branding I like it
going that little bit further Dam fine
so will review the juices after steeping If they make it that long

Hey Jock.

Thanks very much for your kind words - much appreciated. We try to do our best and I am pleased that we have not been found wanting on this occasion
There is only ONE thing that I would change about your post - our standard juice mix is at 30:70 PG:VG, not the quoted 50:50. Sorry to correct you. Everything else is spot on though
Hope you enjoy your juices AFTER the steep. Let me know how you get on.

I have soooo many custards here by so many vendors its silly......at least 12 different ones, and out of those 12, only 3 are worth vaping

I loved GVC then I tried the manabush range and after that it just didn't do it for me, too sickly sweet and not enough depth. Maybe need to find a nice rich deep custard that's not too sweet to relight my custard interest :-)

Hated gvc at first, then steamgunks was my adv, and to be totally honest its not the same now its at chefs vapour (to me anyway)

Went back to gvc a while back and it was better (prob my set up had evolved) and i must be one of the few that prefered it 'fresh' rather then steeped.....after a week, it was becoming to ' weak' and sweet....and like you, it lacked depth and the throat hit was non existent...

Digbys is decent, and well worth a go, and has better 'hit' and has great flavour.....vapercapers is decent, but not really for me.. BrothersVXR 'chaos' is very very good and is getting a good go with me at the moment...although its more of a marshmellow/strawberry/caramel Custard and is sublime, but not a 'straight' custard.......the brothers do do a very very good custard, and a toffee custard, both of which are superb, and they need to get that out alongside chaos....but they are are as fussy as **** and wont send me anymore until its perfect.....

@manabush's custard base to powwow is the absolute bollocks

When it comes to any other out there, nothing comes close to digbys, chaos or steamgunk (when gv222 did it) and i wouldnt bother with goosejuice in that either as that goes off for me very very quickly for me....i guess its to steeped for me...

Another worth trying is VapingKing custard, which is one of the few custards that do need to steep....and is very rich and creamy, and does get better the older it gets....

There are other custards out there, and if you can name it, then i have it, but ive not mentioned it becuase its either shit, or.....er......shit

So 'the general' has to be something special
