Humans rely much more on unconscious recognition of other people's facial expressions than we realise. It's possible to say something that might be a bit off colour to a person whilst in their field of view and they'll know that you're joking by your facial expression.
When posting on a forum, those visual cues aren't apparent, hence smilies.

Whit if you had read the post friggen right you would have seen i wrote "the magneto is a nzonic clone" hmmmmmmmmmmm sorry but i have never seen a ggts before that's why that comment was added in there because sorry am not up to date with all the crap out there and to be honest I dont use the kts+ anymore that was just a test bed for me getting into mechs
