Glass or plastic bottles?

Hi all,

I'm looking to expand our range into 50ml and 100ml bottles but I can't decide between glass bottles with pipettes for that classy look, or soft plastic bottles for ease of squeeze.

Also working on a high VG option and again questioning the best type of bottle to use, in this case more specifically for use with RDA's.

Would be great to hear any feedback from you to help me make a decision. It's pretty much a case of functionality over aesthetics I guess.

Cheers
Vik

Glass/Dropper looks great, but is useless for tanks like the Kayfun.

So my opinion would be plastic for standard mix, glass for high VG.

I am an absolute whore for glass bottles and pipettes. When I see a glass bottle I pretty much expect to pay more regardless of the liquid that is contained within. For me it certainly adds a bit of class to the whole package. I like looking at my bottle collection on their stand. I know that comes across as really sad, but it's true. :8:

With RDA's though, which I have very little experience with, I can't imagine a glass bottle and pipette is the most functional approach for filling. More of a hindrance I would think.

Glass bottles are classy but the juice ends up in the threads and leaks down the side of the bottle. Esp with high VG. If I had the choice i would go for the plastic especially if it was cheaper. But saying that not too bothered as long as the juice is great.

I bought a fair amount of glass bottles for my mixing and yes they do look reallyyyy nice but they are not half as functional as plastic bottles so I am now on the hunt for some good value plastic bottles

For me it's about the juice and being practical... Plastic does tick the practical box... But a large plastic bottle might be an issue, never gone beyond 30ml... But I do know that the pipette option would most likely be tricky with my Lemo2...

So basically I'm no real help and just rambling...

As a marketeer... Do some cool Special Edition Glass bottles and find the cheapest bottle format to refill them...

As Jonny said, haven't used plastic above 30ml.

However, I think using glass bottles with syringes is just inconvenient. Yes it looks better, but it makes more of a mess, is useless for tanks with fill holes and no matter what, you can't get the last bit of juice with the syringe so you end up having to try and pour the juice out of the bottle into the tank without making a mess.

Glass bottles are a pain in the arse , takes ages to fill a tank with the poxy pipette ( I like to shake and squirt ) !! If you have one in your pocket and fall over , as well as breaking my hip I also have glass in my leg this is not good. Any glass bottles I get the contents are decanted into plastic bottles before anything else is done. I never carry anything less than 50ml cos I hate running out.

Glass for the 100ml, since you know you like it before you get 100ml. That's a keeper bottle and will be refilled from the plastic bottles in the future. That's how I run my Manabush supply anyway...

My hate for glass dropper bottles has no limits. They are more expensive, they leak, they are a pain in the arse to fill attys with, you cannot get all the juice out of the bottle, the list goes on.....
