Guardian Wants To Hear Your Vaping Experiences

I think it may be worth doing this. Call me naive, but I feel that the guardian has a better liklihood of presenting a balanced view than other rags. Their coverage isn't great, but I think that's down to laziness / misinformation rather than a desire for sensationalism.

I said I'm 12 years old and love vaping Elf Bars. Our mate's big brother gets us them from the mobile phone repair shop in town because he's got a bit of a tache and looks old enough.

I obviously didn't, I filled it in for myself.

Id be surprised if the grauniad can even spell Atomiser

I don't think it is any more balanced than the rest of them and do sensationalism as well as any if it suits.

Tell them one thing just for them to twist it and say you said something else, i hate Journalists, whatever happened to the truth.

I think they are just as bad as all the rest - but try to cover it by making themselves out to be really socialist and community minded.

its as bad as all the rest.

there have been some truly appalling vaping articles in the Cardigan in the past.

Aye, y'could both be right. I don't really read papers that much TBH so I wasn't best placed to comment. Of the few articles I've seen though, they've at least mentioned the "95% safer" thing, and that it is one of the best ways of helping people quit.

Edit to add: Fuck it, I did it anyway. It will be interesting to see how the article comes out.

Yes they are...
The child vaping crisis: ‘From what my daughter says, 90% of her year do it’
https://www.theguardian.com/society...om-what-my-daughter-says-90-of-her-year-do-it

Absolutely disgraceful journalism from a supposedly respectable newspaper...
So, some mother says her daughter said that, and it becomes the headline?!?! FFS

Further down the article -
In 2015, Rosey Christoffersen, who was 18 and a talented footballer, died. Her lungs had collapsed. Her family believes it was due to vaping.
As tragic as this death is, are her parents now either pathologists or scientists with some direct evidence that attributes it to vaping?

At the bottom of the article, it says -

I would write in, but there doesn't seem any point due to conflicting interests being a vendor...
