Harsh on the throat

Hi guys.

Just trying a couple of juices from my first ever mixing sesh.

Both have steeped for 4 days.
Question is, both seem a little harsh and tickly on the throat, not smooth as many premium juices in the same ratio.

First juice was for my other half, its 10% blue raspberry at 12mg nic at 70pg 30vg slightly harsh, she loves the flav but asked if I could smooth out the slight harshness

Second is mine, 10% snik snak at 12mg 50pg 50vg, seems very harsh compared to other 50/50 juices I regularly vape but flavour is ok.

Is there any magical additives you guys use too smooth out the vape?
Would ethyl maltol help here?

I found I had to cut my nic right back to 6mg. Mine was mixed at 50/50

Yeah I think I may drop it down a touch in my next mix, I've been vaping mine for the last half hour and it's not too bad now, I'm guessing it was a bit of a shock too the throat since ive been vaping 70/30 all week

You can buy a liquid smoothener but I don't think that will help your throat. If I'm wrong someone will put me right with that one

I dropped my nic content too, from 24 and 18 right down to either 12, 8 or 6mg. I also use a really high VG mix, the only PG is in my flavours and I still find it a little harsh sometimes.

Maybe the stuff you bought just doesn't agree with you, try another brand and see if it stops. Or you might just need to get used to it.

I remixed it at 50/50 for her and she much prefers it.
My one I just came to the conclusion it was a rank flavour. The rest of my mixes have been fine

Kandi-hed blue raspberry? Stuff is great, you just mixed it at a low percentage.

I reckon the harshness is the pg level but it could be the juice needs a bit longer steep time. You can add MTS vape wizard (mellow thick & smooth) or Ethyl Maltol which can help a mix greatly but I would leave a few more days before adding anything.

Yeah, chocolate vapes suck in my experience.

I mix it with skittles from vapours r us, each at 10%. Try 18%.
