What's new

Has anyone tried these cheaper clearoz ?

At the mo' i am using genuine Kanga Tech Evod clearomizers on my battery but i've seen these on ebay ( Yikes. ebay ! )

There's nothing to say they are anything but copies. The real kanga's are good but i have not tried these err replicas?
Anyone tried these & are they any good or perhaps just a disaster waiting to happen ??

Peace out !

Dont buy from ebay unless you know what you are getting.

IE dont waste your money unless you know for certain the products you are ordering are good quality.

I hear more bad than good about gear bought on ebay or amazon.

Buy from a trusted source that deals with high quality goods :P

I agree with you there which is why i'm asking. I bought a new 'apparently' genuine kanga clearo off evilbay & it seems legit & fine, it's branded with the name & all that. It was £4.50 delivered & the best deal i could find anywhere.
I don't mind paying that much again really but you know, it's always good to put your feelers out & check what's up like.
Thanks.

I've used genuine and clone EVODs and coils, and I have to say, both perform equally as well as each other. That said, I still wouldn't buy from eBay!

The interesting thing is that these cheap clones are most likely from the same source weather you buy via an ebay seller or directly from a vendors website. Probably all made in china who copy anything & everything (It's why they are enjoying economical success)
I've been using ebay for about 12 years & experienced many different situations. Yes there are a lot of 'Fleabayers' on there but there are also some genuine sellers who do not abuse the loopholes.
These things i mentioned, they are unbranded & so i think we all know it's a gamble but i'm just asking if anyone else had tried 'em & if or not they are any good. Aren't most mods clones anyway ? Some look to be better than the originals.

The only issue with the cloned EVODs as opposed to the non cloned, is that the paint flaked off the outside of the clone, but that's not really an issue for me.

They probably are from the same manufacturer, but I've never been a big eBay fan!

I've never been a big eBay fan!

Once in a while they give me the customer survey to complete & there's always the question "How likely are you to recommend Ebay to a friend ? " Then you give a score from 1 to 10 with 1 being 'not at all' & 10 being 'Very likely'
They only ever score a 3 - 5 from me. I don't recommend ebay one bit unless you know the territory.

In my old job, most of my customers were eBay vendors (automotive aftermarket), and I saw the low margins they used to trade at, there were so many vendors out there, the margins were just eroded and eroded, and they'd try every trick in the book to make that extra penny, guess that put me off.

You're right to be wary. The same mentality echos through many other products & categories on ebay. Truth is that there are a lot of naive buyers out there & there are a heap of vendors just waiting to take their money.
You, avoiding ebay just removes yourself from the risk. Can't go wrong ! Spend a bit more to start with & reap the savings later rather than buying a half arsed product that will probably give substandard performance.

Just read their feedback - other people have bought them and seem happy.
