What's new

Has anyone used Vapechaseruk.co.uk before?

Check this out.
Every item has #spamforspam by the side of it.
Not sure what that means but it's very odd.

I did see that, weird what pops up on a google search, the link for the address flagged up a second vape company, based in Birmingham, who are operating out of an industrial unit, all proper contact details etc. The plot thickens, I won't name them, this is like a wild goose chase.

I would place a little order with vaper chaser, but honestly right now, apart from maybe needing some mesh strips, I'm not buying anything.

Plenty of honest and trustworthy UK vendors who run their businesses and webpages correctly and who don't hide behind worthless "contact me" website messaging services and use social media platforms simply to advertise and push traffic to a dubious website.

Legit or not; I wouldn't use them even with someone else's money. I prefer to support the good companies we have who put the proper and legally required work in.

Some people seem to have a different meaning for the word legit, than I do.

To me legit, short for legitimate derived from the same root as the word legal.
The site does not comply with laws regarding online sales, at least as far as contact details go, it also seems to not understand, the law with regards to refunds. I am not sure it is legal to claim that you are "Vaper Chaser UK is one of the uk's leading vape stores" when you are clearly not

I think some people seem to mean, I think the guy really does have gear to sell and I might risk buying from him. This does not make him legit.
I have knowingly bought stuff from dodgy geezers. That does not make them legit

The guy does not seem to concerned about legal requirements or honesty, that does not mean he is not in the market to sell you stuff. If folk want the protection of the law then best stick to legit traders. If people knowingly want to buy from a dodgy geezer because they think it is a deal that is worth the risk then that is up to them.

As a forum it is probably not a good idea to promote traders that are not legit.

From the thread I started today

I ordered a DOVPO TOPSIDE dual Carbon for over £100 about 3 weeks ago. They claimed it was sent but no proof was given. I have been chasing them every day and now they are not responding to my emails or even Instagram DMs.

As they are having issues with PayPal (as most in the industry are) i stupidly did a bank transfer so now have no cover.

They have extremely poor customer service and I'm seriously narked.

I'm still going to keep harrassing them.. but NOT happy!!!

That doesn't make it OK. It's a legal requirement so by failing to provide the required information they're breaking the law regardless of whether or not they actually bother to ship the item/s purchased.

I have no idea why anyone would buy things from people like this. There's enough excellent UK vendors to find anything you want at a fair price. Businesses that have supported the industry for years and have great customer care.
