Even with a single coil ( after a bit of practice ) you will get rewarding results compared to what you've been using
Don't run an all that lark or you will just get frustrated
I'd say aim for a 1.7 - 2 ohm coil and have a play about with where you position your coil to the air hole and just go from there

on a side note I was also thinking of investing in another mod but don't know what to get. I currently own a tornado c twist and an evic. I was thinking of a vamo v3 but it does everything my evic can. Is there anything else?

Even though the evic is a good device it has its limited volts / watts on certain ohm coils ( correct me if I'm wrong as I don't know of they have come out with an upgrade for this ), the vamo is able to go up to 15 watts / 6 volts so is good for experimenting with deferent coil set ups, plus its a bit more robust

Yeah the vamo is what I started with and still use it ( actually have two ) lol
You can go for mechanical mods but would advise getting used to your coil builds first as you can get shorts and need something that can check your ohms, especially on the genesis style attys as they can be a bit more fiddly than drippers. You can obviously check your coils on the evic but weather it will fire lower ohm coils I'm not sure
