Hi, Just wanted to post a thread and say hello and say what a great site this is, while im here i might as well tell you something about me and what im looking for, im 45 been smoking for years about 20 to 25 a day.Not long ago i tried the skycig e-cigarettes and find them quite nice (i like the menthol) but the battery does not last long and after looking around they are not the cheapest by any means,i was looking into getting some liquid and putting some drops in the tips but im curious as to how the vapour works and what i might expect to pay ect ect, any help would be much appreciated.

I would purchase the 510 cig alike from cloud9vaping there on offer the kit wich contains 2cigs is about £16 @ the moment. They are easy to refill. Cloud9 sell very good juices at a very good price take a look see if thats any good for you.

Hello and welcome geordiewhite. I too started on the cigalikes, I then went straight onto ego batteries with a separate Evod on top as I found the idea of trying to refill the cartos too much hassle. Others who have refilled their cartos may come along soon and give you more info.

geordiewhite! Unless you're particularly attached to the look of the cigalikes, I would recommend having a look at an ego-type set up, which you can get with e-liquid for around the £20 mark. This way you can buy e-liquid to top up with MUCH cheaper than your cigalike options, and have a HUGE variety of flavours to choose from!

Hello and welcome. Have you considered egos? The first thing you'll notice will be batter performance. I'd go for a kit with 2 batteries so you can still use one whilst charging the other.

Hi, im new to all of the e-cig and vapour but really dont mind if i refill or not, im just looking for a decent smoke with a bit of bite lol. There was a lad down our golf club smoking what looked like a vapour cig and it looked like he was getting a proper smoke out of it. ive noticed some starter kits start from £16 up to £95 so still not sure what to order and not sure about batteries and liquid, but any advice much appreciated.

You'll get a much better experience in terms of flavour and amount of vapour from the ego style, and should be looking to pay around £20 for batteries, charger, clearomisers (the tanks you fill with liquid) and e-liquid.
If you find you really enjoy it, and get as obsessed with shiny things as some others ( haha) then you can start looking towards the big bucks set ups.
