I decided I would make an effort to give up a filthy habit I started when I was in school many many years ago. Truth be told I was never a heavy smoker, maybe 15 cigs during a normal day at most and 20 when on a night on the beer.
The first e-cig I bought was the E-lites rechargeable thing with the glowing tip from a local Newsagent. The whole package including extra filter tips and the usb charger cost about £18. I told the Misses I'll give up smoking and just puff on those instead... Big mistake. They tasted awful so, even though I was getting a right good ear bashing from Mrs PaGaN, I carried on smoking my regular Lamberts, and the E-Lites sat back in its box not being used. This experience almost put me off e-cigs completely.
After a month or so I noticed a few of my work mates using e-cigs that looked more like pens then Cigarettes so I got some information on them and bought a Ego CE5 starter kit of off ebay for less than £7 and some Liquid for £3. I stopped smoking regular cigarettes as soon as I used the Ego CE5 Kit. The flavour of Juice I picked was fine (but not perfect) and the whole thing just felt better than the cigalike.
I have now been vaping for a month and have not had a single cigarette in that time. I've also just upgraded my Kit to a Vision Spinner with a Kanger EVOD2 Tank and I'm using Celtic Vapours E-liquid.
I'm hoping to learn more about the whole vaping thing so that's why I decided to join here.
