Hi, I want to start vaping, and I'm trying to go for a vape setup which produces a fair amount of vapour and is good quality. I saw a video by the youtube channel indoorsmokers, and he recommends an eGo twist battery (510 threaded) and a EVOD tank (also 510). My plan was to get this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-e...hash=item1a16c5409d:m:mriZczjpHNCy4ZbDpYGLHSQ

and this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-or-5-o...a0eb13f&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=112051175581

Can anyone tell me if I need anything else? Coils or anything, or are they included? Thanks

Evod tanks come with a coil in them. What do you class as a fair amount of vapour as from my experience they don't produce a whole lot. Depending on what your after I feel you may out grow it quite quickly. I quite liked my cool fire 4 and zephyrus combo before I sold up. The zephyrus comes with an RBA deck and stock coils so your ready to go out the box but can build your own if you feel up to it.

Pretty much what @Thom2022 said, you'll not get "clouds bro clouds" with a vision spinner. You'll be looking at a sub ohm setup, the cool fire 4 is nice, also the iSticks are also decent, and the PICO is good value, also the Evic VTC mini is decent. All of the above have a 510 atomiser connection, so the majority of sub ohm tanks will fit. For an atomiser the zephyrus would be ideal, also the goliath V2 is a re-buildable that comes with stock coils too. I don't really use tanks that come with pre made coils anymore so I'll let someone else advise on those, although the Cleito, Crown and Rafale all seem to have a good reputation and should give decent clouds and flavour. Most tanks come with a couple of coils to get you going.

I had both the zephyrus and the Goliath. I rate the zephyrus over the Goliath any day. It's just easier and cleaner to use. As a starter I don't think you can go wrong with that setup. The cool fire goes to 45w IIRC which is more than enough for the stock coils in the zeph.

It depends on what you're aiming at, but if you just want a simple to use reasonable vape setup the the Joyetech AIO is probably one of the better bets - heres a link to the device - http://www.joyetech.co.uk/e-cig-kit...aio-e-cigarette-kit-and-e-liquid#.V4P8AaI6WM8
It may be available cheaper elsewhere...

The Joyetech AIO if you want something simple (no messing with wattages/temperatures etc.), but get a different tank... The Joyetech coils suck (and spit)! EDIT Just realised the AIO doesn't have a removable tank... Do'h
If you want something that's going to last longer and be more flexible in the long run something like the coolfire 18650 or some other single battery 18650 mod with temperature control.
Tanks really depend on what you want... If you want something that uses stock coils then maybe something like an Isub V-E, if you want to build your own coils then a Wotofo serpent mini (can you tell I like small tanks.. They produce good flavour with the convenience of a tank system)

question that needs to be asked first is do you/ did you smoke. if yes how many and for how many years.
the answer to this will give us a better idea of what your after.

if you just want big mahoosive clouds then they dont come from the pen types that you linked too. the clouds are from sub ohm tanks and if you are trying to give up then my advice would be dont try and run before you can walk.

the pen types are a mouth to lung hit just like smoking and you can have much higher nicotine 18mg with them.
for clouds its a direct to lung hit and much lower nicotine like 3mg or max 6mg is best.

MrDJ with the wisdom once again, take what he said and base it on that. Depending on what your wanting from Vaping to will depend on what mod/battery and tank will be best for you. As a new vaper something easy to use, stock coils and easily refillable would be the best option. A lot of people start with your ego/vision spinner pen style batteries, but if your after chucking some clouds then a sub ohm starter kit will be a good option, but as @MrDJ said what was your circumstances before ? If you smoked 10-20 cigarettes then a MTL set up would be good to get you started because you may find Vaping isn't for you and save yourself spending money on a sub ohm set up to find it's not for you. But it's all subjective you may find sub ohm Vaping is for you straight away. Just of the bat MTL set ups that are common and work well
Aspire Nautilus
KangerTech Geni/EVOD
Innokin T18/T22 iClear
Also have the Endura kit by Innokin
Ego One kit possibly.

Mods/Batteries to go with that
Vision Spinner VV/VW
Ego batteries 650mah-3000mah
CoolFire 4/plus
KangerTech Evods, Othet batteries by them.

List goes on but just a few to consider.

Good advice... I started with a cheap ego style pen/ce4 tank setup from eBay which I vaped at home in the evenings for a few weeks, gradually upping the vape and decreasing the cigs until I thought vaping was going to work out for me.
The next step was a Joyetech ego one kit which can be used as a restricted lung/mouth to lung (MTL) or lung hit kit depending on which coil you put in there. I found the 0.5 ohm lung hit coils were my favourites. Hated the tank/coils though, they regularly spit liquid at you and the rebuildable CLr heads are hopeless.
That lasted about 5 weeks and then I switched to a Joyetech Evic VTC mini and a kanger subtank mini... That's probably a good "all round" setup, you can sort of do a MTL or a restricted lung with the subtank, it uses stock coils and comes with a rebuildable deck if you want to go down that route.
I still use the Evic as my "daily beater" mod (tip black mods and tanks don't go well with beach holidays!).

Well, I quit a 60 a day habit almost two years ago and have been through the mill on batteries/mods/tanks etc. I you want clouds then as the more experienced guys here have said, it's sub-ohm. I have drippers for home use (Velocity V2 and Eden Snapdragon V1.5 with cloud cap - both with dual claptons), but for daily out and about convenience, I've found that the Uwell Crown and SMOK TFV4 at 0.2/0.25 give good flavour, reasonable tank capacity, are pretty good at chucking clouds and are top filled, so minimum faffing about. As a heavy vaper, dual 18650 batteries are a must, so too is a decent charger, unless you have access to charging at all times and a device which allows you to vape while charging. I've wasted a small fortune on batteries/mods/tanks etc (as most of us have along the way) and wished I found this forum when I started vaping. Having said that, the hobby part of vaping is part of the experience that takes you further away from smoking, so you pays your money etc...
