Hi everyone,

I'm a buyer on a historical fantasy drama and we are looking for a vape that is slim enough to plausibly hide inside the stem of an old-fashioned pipe, but powerful enough to produce a convincing cloud of 'smoke'.

I have done some research and I understand that we won't be getting BIG clouds out of a slim vape as there isn't the room for the air flow, but can anyone recommend a good compromise between slimness / 'smokiness'?

Advice very much appreciated! xx

Hi @Violet and welcome to the planet.

hmmm, im stumped on what to say.
i think it would be impossible to fit any vape in a real pipe stem so the next best thing would be get a vape pipe that looks old.
maybe @vapesmarter can help on this one as he makes them from scratch.

This is a great suggestion, but unfortunately we are set in 1705 and the pipes we're looking at are the cheap, disposable clay type which I don't think we'll find in vape form! Though I could be wrong...

Hi, thanks for this. Our prop master already modded a clay pipe to conceal a cigma vape pen (see photo) but it just doesn't produce enough of a cloud to look convincing. We're stumped too!

ahh, wish you had mentioned the date first :)

think the only thing that would fit in that is a cig a like and they are limited on what cloud they produce.

forum is playing silly buggers at the moment and wont let me edit.

ive not heard of the cigma. does it take a cartridge or you pour liquid into it like a small tank.
for filming i guess you could dismantle the part with the liquid in it and change it for higher vg which produces the cloud but it will burn the coil out within a few puffs so then need changing quite a lot to a new coil.

Message @vapesmarter, ive been told he does all sorts of things, he may be able to do a correct time period device designed to take a small pod device or a cig a like

(He wouldnt do it for a vaper, but in your case he might because of what its for)

Oh, wait, have u tried using 100% vg, u can just use plain vg with nothing else in it, it looks refillable right?
