Hi...I've just had my first go at DIY...using Capella Flavour drops. A basic mix of 20% flavour, 20% 54mg PG nic base and 60% Boots VG (thinned with a little boiled water). I only mixed them up 5 days ago, but being impatient, just had to have a try this evening! To keep it simple for my first try, I used just one flavour for each mix...

Lemon/Lime - tastes great and good to go - vaping it now!

Sweet Strawberry,
Sweet tangerine,
Orange Creamsicle, these three are a bit weak on the flavour, although what I can taste is gorgeous!.

Coconut - absolutely ugh! Smells divine though!

Meringue - spot on- will use to mix in with some of the others.

Will the taste continue to change over time? Perhaps get stronger for the weaker three (and possibly do something appealing to the coconut?).

Be really grateful for your input, anyone who has experience with Capella please? :thankssign:

Have you added any sweetener or EM to them?

Most of the Capella flavours arent presweetened :D

No...just as they came...the fruit flavours do taste sweet enough to me though, just the three seem a bit weak, the lemon and lime which I'm vaping now, also seems quite sweet, could that be the Boots VG?

Steeping in my experience with Capella normally involves a min 7 day wait, however some take less some take more. But normally 7 days is around the minimum I aim for, that said who can wait lol. Not too sure about the boiled water though as there are plenty of chemicals in tap water I would not like to vape. I would opt for vodka or distilled water when I want to thin something down.

Hi I mix 70/30 pg/vg with 15% flavour capella and nic, I find the flavour superb and it does not
lessen. Is it coz you are using mainly vg???????
ps I let it steep in a box in the dark for 7 days, if I can wait that long :)

Hi Nellie, i googled Capella Lemon and Lime and came across this lol.
Nellie was kind enough to send me some of her concotions, haven't tried them all yet, but i must say the lemon and lime is lovely, its is sweet and zingy and the flavour comes through very nicely, been vaping it solidly for the last 48hrs, if this was your first time mixing then all i can say is well done.

And what a difference a few extra days makes....amazing how much stronger the taste gets after just another 4 days.

I think this proves patience with steeping can make a big difference, also will try that tip u mentioned, thanks again

I use capella flavouring a lot when making my juice, and as said above steep for at least a week. If left a little longer the flavour will continue to mature a little more but to be honest a week is all you need to get the best.

I have only tried one capella so far which was apple pie. Needed at least a week to get the full flavour of apple and pie.

Have got some PA lemon and lime which seems to have a strange after taste. Have added some pa sweetener and will give it another vape soon. What percentage of lemon and lime did you use?

Cheers :)
