Help With Choice Of Coil

Only way to compare it, is to try it Faceteeth.

At the moment I'm using GT CCell coils with a Skrr tank, and they are SS316L coils. Tried using a QF Strip coil made out of Kanthal and yuck, needless to say the coil ended up being binned very quickly.

I don't like fancy Kanthal coils as I think they taste metallic but simple 24g wraps are smooth.

I ordered like 8 different sets of coils from Crazy Wire and I've only tried a few so far. I've got some SS 0.1 ohm fused claptons which I can't use as they're too low. Might do a raffle or something fun on the classifieds and give them away.

Have you tried their SS316L flat wire, thinking of getting some 25 and or 24. But with the amount of wire and ribbon I've got I'll be sorted for some time to come.

Don't tell me about it Faceteeth, some folks love going as low as they can with ohms. Funny when they say that it's okay, because they're using Sony VTC5A batteries with 25A CDR.

And if you were wondering, those QF strip coils are basically made using a perforated Kanthal sheet. But yuck.
