Help with leaking pod on Justfog Minifit

I’m hoping someone can help with an issue I’m having with my Justfog Minifit.

I’ve been vaping 3mil Vampire Vape Vamp Toes for about a year. It’s been great but now I’m ready to go 0mil nicotine. I grabbed a couple of 0mil Vamp Toes and since I’ve started using it I’m having terrible issues with the juice leaking.

The 0mil juice is 60 pg 40 vg and the 3mil is 50/50. I very, very rarely had issues with leaking with the 3mil. Now with 0mil, it’s awful. I end up with juice everywhere.

I’ve noticed the juice seems to be thinner with the 0mil so I don’t know if it’s because the Minifit pods are perhaps not the best quality that is causing this or if it’s the different vg pg ratio. I am not that clued up on vg pg to be honest.

I have also tried Ohm Brew Lemon and Lime 0mil which is 50/50 which, although it doesn't leak, it floods the coil in the pod within 15-20 drags. I don't know why this happens as the ingredients appear exactly the same as state don the packaging.

I’m going to try a new pod when I get some more juice to see if it was just a dodgy pod but I was wondering if there’s a precedent for this kind of thing.

Have you guys got any ideas what might be going on? Are there any juices you can recommend in 0mil that are perhaps ‘thicker’ to try and prevent this?

I suspected as much after some research. Seems crazy how much difference that increase in PG (and/or decrease in VG) can make but I guess that's why it's an important factor in the juice.

The Ohm Brew Juice mentioned is displayed as a 50/50 nic salt juice but like I said, I just end up with a flooded coil not long after a few puffs. Again, I don't know why this is happening because as per the quote you have given, on paper this juice is exactly what should be used.

I've thought about maybe going for a 70/30 VG/PG Pinkman or Heisenberg but I'm worried this will just annihilate coil in what is a cheap pod.

I'm at a real crossroads here. I purchased a Lost Vape Orion Q and I just cant get on with it, the hit is just too harsh for me, even with the same juice(s). Therefore, I want to find a juice suitable for the Minifit but I don't seem to have many/any options!

edit: Just realised, if it's suggesting to use salt based nicotine products, does this mean going 0mg nic is basically a non-starter with the Minifit?

What @Mr.DJ said, unfortunately the 3mg is the only one in that flavour that is 50/50 0mg and the other strengths are all 60pg/40pg

i have no idea why it would flood so quick. lets see if @DeeDee can advise as shes tried one or two (hundred) pods.

are you priming the coil before you put in tank. if so maybe its too much and flooding the coil. i know some pods say if it gets flooded hold the base and flick it like a fishing rod which should remove the excess juice in the mouthpiece (best do this outside).
sadly 70vg would be a no go in this small kit as im guessing it would be too thick and just dry burn the coil.

With the Minifit, the coil is built in to the pod so all I do (which has always worked) is fill the pod with juice and let it soak for approx 10 minutes and go from there.

I'm about a third of the way through a bottle of 0mg 60/40 pg/vg Vamp Toes with a new pod and no leaks yet but we'll see if that stays the same!

I previously had trouble with mine leaking, so gave up on it, I think my blend was something like 60pg/40vg (a homemade herbal product). Just about to try a commercially produced 50/50 eliquid, will let you know.

I have not used this pod system but have used many PODS with integrated coils. Most of them can leak at one stage or another, I only use nic salts 50/50 really, if I get issues with flooding the coil I get some kitchen roll, roll it and place theough the centre hole of the mouthpice, this usually gets rids of any excess juice in the center of the coil.

I cant really comment on 60/40 - its is very much rial and error, it could have just been a dodgy pod

HAHAHA Slight exaggeration I think MrDJ Hundred? Nah but I am actually creating a list of everything I have used and will share it on my thread just so I can keep tabs and if people have questions on any of them they can contact me. Hoping that will be a little helpful

It's only ever with the Ohm Brew 50/50 0mg juice though. I've just accepted that that isn't going to work with the minifit.

I've had no leaks on the new pod with 60pg so far so fingers crossed it stays that way!
