Help with Vaptio P-I Beginners Kit

hi, thanks for the reply, very much appreciate the help. Changing wattage is done by pressing the 2 smaller buttuns up or down. It can be changed in increments of 10, from 10 up to 50, and lights up the 5 lights accordingly, 1 light for 10W, 2 for 20W ect... but there is a function refererred to in the instruction book which simply says; "SWITCH VAPING MODES - Press FIRE button 3 times in 2s", and it's this I'm finding hard to understand, or to find ANY information about on google or youtube.
I now wish I'd spent a bit more money and got one with a screen display, as even if I knew what it was, there doesn't seem to be any indicator telling me which mode is active.
I'm about to give up and buy a new one and keep the Vaptio as a backup
Hi mate. Wish I could help but maybe the instructions have an error in them. It wouldn't be the first time something chinese had a wierd instruction. Do any of the lights change or do anything different when you hit the fire button 3 times in the 2 seconds? Again I dont know that mod but maybe its, like some have a Soft, Normal and Hard. Maybe it gives the vape a boost in power for a second or so like those that have those options I just mentioned. Might be too its just an error in the manual too. I have a fishing reel that showed and mentioned multi disc drag washers, it was a mistake, it only had 1. To be honest, a good mod with a screen with all the info is the go. You can get some really good ones these days. I started out with kits that had no screens or info but now having those that do I don't think I could go back. Good luck getting things sorted.

Yeah, I think you're right and it's a printing error or something, when i press it the 3 times, all the lights light up for a second or so, but it also does the exact same when I press it 2 times or 4 times in 2s, all the lights come on briefly. Whatever the case may be, I'm defo going out and buying a mod with a screen, it was in my mind to do exactly that when I went and got the Vapio, but the guy in the shop plugged this thing to me. I'm pretty sure you're spot on with the typo thing as I can't find anything anywhere about this, and I've been looking for 2 days, cheers for the help mate, much appreciated

I think you're spot on about the error in the manual. When I press the fire button 3 times in 2s, all the lights light up briefly, but the exact same happens when I press the fire button twice, or 4 times in 2s. I had planned to buy a mod with a screen, but the guy in the shop plugged the Vapio and I went with it, I should have stuck to my original plan..... I'll be going ASAP and getting one with a display, and keep the Vapio as a backup or whatever. Thanks a lot for the help mate, I'm 100% sure you've hit the nail right on the head there.

Tazz, so happy with your answer that I replied twice
You're more than welcome mate. It's a pain when something isn't right. Thank you, for the thanks too. Many don't do that these days. When you decide to get one, ask the guys on here, tell em your vaping style, wattage, tank etc and you'll get some great info. A shop will generally sell you either what they want to get rid of or what they make the most profit on. Not all, there are some great ones out there but knowing which and who when you're not armed with any prior info can be hard to figure out. Cheers mate.

Yeah, I've no doubt that I'll have plenty questions about whatever new one I get. I know a lot of shops will do that that, anything to make a profit, or get rid of certain stock, but to be fair to the guy in my shop, I'm sure he was just trying to be helpful, knowing I was a noob to vaping. He has a pretty good range, many of which were well more expensive than the £30 I paid for the Vaptio, and he could have made a fortune off me that day, also he always gives you wee deals when you buy a fair amount of stuff, and to be fair, apart from this slight issue, which now appears to be a non-issue, the Vaptio seems to be a decent wee bit of kit for 30 quid, and you've set my mind at ease about the one and only thing bugging me about it, so thanks again :)
