What's new

Here's a new one to me

she wont go back on the cigs mate she just stops vaping for a day or so and seems to start to heal again

Well, at least she’s off the cigs. I can only suggest she tries to drink significantly more when she’s vaping, and see if that makes a difference, it could be dehydration related. And see a doctor of course, although those I’ve seen don’t seem massively clued up on vaping, unfortunately.

@Arty59 Dry mouth, with vaping I had it for a while when started and now don't suffer since I drink far more water. I very rarely suffer from any cracks now.

I still get it very, very slightly If I don't drink enough water for a few days. By enough I am talking 1-2 litres minimum.

Especially since the meds I am on cause me constant dry mouth.

The boots dry mouth spray worked wonders for me when I started £2.50 I recommend that.

Holy fcuk, that looks serious, no matter how 'normal' it could be.
I wouldn't go anywhere near salt or vinegar on the way to the Doctors.

Like this?

Thank you for causing that horrible image to appear in my feed, Zou.

I do wish people would think twice before posting images, because people who use the app or Tapatalk get images from posts displayed with the tread title in their feed. We don't have to open the thread to see it, it is there, filling the screen, in our 'latest posts' feed.

The sister in laws mother in laws tongue cracks open when she vapes any ideas what can cause this guys
Most likely the PG content of her ejuice. Suggest higher VG and drink a LOT more water.
PG tends to absorb water, so could be the cause of tongue cracking. OR it could be something unrelated, maybe she is growing a forked tongue? Watch out for a tail and hooves as well.

Um wouldn't your sister in laws mother be YOUR mother in law?

questions need to be asked before we go any further.

what juice does she use and where does she get it from and also nicotine strength.
what kit does she use and what wattage.
as said a doctor or a dentist should be her next step.
giving up smoking can cause a lot of ailments as they were masked by all the shite from cigs. detoxing all the crap out can bring out some side effects.
as mentioned could be as simple as pg allergy but we are not doctors so it needs checking out.

Yeah I got to thinking after I mentioned the pg that maybe she is sensitive or allergic to the flavoring of her juice. If she is using the same kind all the time. Like always a menthol, or always an ice?

It's his sister in laws Mother in law ... her Hubby's momma.

I didn't know vaping could dehydrate a person. Great advice ya gave. I will have to remember to drink more myself. I am on singulaire and it gives me dry mouth something terrible. I have to use Biotene dry mouth spray all the time. Is it made worse by vaping, even though I use 100% VG?

Yes and you'll probably notice it more vaping 100% vg
