I'm in Port Talbot mate, moved here just as the whole Covid thing started. I was living up in the valleys with the missus but moved here for convenience of getting to work easier
Whereabouts you moving to?
Hi and welcome,Hi guys, brand new to vaping forums
Sorta new to vaping in general as well really. Only started learning to put together RTAs around a year ago, now my passion is starting to go a bit deeper so I thought I'd hang around where all of the other vapers hang around and steal your experience for my own desires...sort of true, just thought I'd start branching out a bit.
Name's Matt, from South Wales in the UK. Currently vaping on a Voopoo Drag system and replaced the Dead Rabbit V1 with a Zeus X RDA tank two days ago. Difference is outstanding! Now to find a decent mod to go with it!
Anyways, rambling now. If you need anything or just fancy a banter, hit me up!
Hi and welcome,
Was the Zeus X really that much better than the dead rabbit ? I had the original Zeus and then the Dual but never found them close to an RDA for flavour, but never tried the "X" ?
I might have missed a trick with the "X". I haven't used a RTA for a couple of years now since I started using squonkers, might have to dip a toe back into the "world of tanks" to see how ,much things have progressed !It was indeed a massive jump up from the Dead Rabbit. Bear in mind that this is the V1, it had at least a year of use before I even got hold of it and wasn't great for wicking. Quite fickle in my opinion.
Having an issue with the Zeus X tank now though where if you fill it to the top, some of the liquid will find its way into the centre and burn up and give lots of spitback. It's a flaw in some of them where the main chamber isn't fully connected up and the chimney doesn't sit right. All it takes is a hammer and some board between the two pieces to protect it, going to do it when my tank is empty. For flavour though, it's mint! Wicking is easy, need quite a bit of cotton in the bottom though. if you thin it too much, the deck floods and you'll get spitback then too.
Overall though, top tank!

Well worth a try - especially if you get through juice like I do - a lot less topping up !I haven't touched squankers yet, one of my good friends said that I should give them a try but the RTAs are serving me well right now so I'm happy with what I have
No doubt I will eventually get one though
