What's new

Hey~!

Hi, I'm RZ! Pleasure to meet you all! I've been poking my nose about the forum for the past few days and figured it's about time I say hello.

A little about myself... I'm 23, living in Manchester for the past few years. I gave up cigarettes a little over a year ago now and have been vaping ever since. My move up in devices was slow - started off with a mini-battery type device with a PCC. It was a great kit and I stayed off of cigarettes which was the main thing. But slowly I got frustrated with the tiny battery life, the constant swapping of batteries and charging of the PCC and more importantly - the lack of power they seemed to have. From there I stumbled upon Volcano Ecigs and ended up buying their Inferno kit which I absolutely loved. So, so much better! It was at that point that I really became more interested in vaping and slowly got more and more interested in it, trying different things like clearomizers and dripping atomizers.

Pretty recently - thanks to finally having some money for a change - I made the step up to a variable voltage device again from Volcano: their Lavatube V2 kit! There was actually a lot of devices I was strongly considering, but with all the store points/credit I'd amassed over 6 months (I'm truly in love with their Menthol Burst liquid) I ended up getting it pretty cheap and couldn't be happier! (Sounds an awful lot like an advert at this point, but I do like their stuff~ :D)

Today I finally made a foray into rebuildables. I picked up and IGO-L and an RSST - both arrived this morning with silica wick, kanthal wire and some SS mesh to get me started! I haven't had the chance to tinker with the RSST yet but I officially built my first ever coil on the IGO-L the first time - which I'm really pleased about even if it is quite simple! Came out pretty high resistance at 2.9 (too many wraps I guess) but it's working well for me :D (May need to dig up a drill for the air hole though, after the airy draw of my Protank, the draw on it feels too tight...). I'm looking forward to building up my first Genesis atomizer next week on my day off and maybe try my hand at rebuilding a Protank head too~

When my budget restraints allow I'd love to get myself a nice mech mod. Some of them look stunning (if only they weren't always out of stock! D:) but I'm sure I'll unearth something I like and can actually readily buy in the hopefully-near future!

Forgive me for spilling my whole vape-life-story, I'm terrible at short introductions. I look forward to talking to and getting to know you all~ :)
Hi and welcome :)

Great intro and welcome to POTV :)

Thanks very much~!

I actually grabbed myself the Sigelei 19 which arrived in the mail today. I charged up the pair of 18350s that I ordered with it and took it along with me to work this evening. It was a bit strange to suddenly have such a tiny mod in my hand as well as not having any of the features of a VV device, but I did like it and it worked like a champ with my RSST~! :) Battery even lasted the whole 8 hours I was out of the house, but I could definitely feel the low voltage by the time I got home.
