Good review as per usual Scott. Some of the features seem quite reminiscent of the lavatube to me ... wonder if it's circuitry is based around lavatube design?

Seems like a lot of decent features for the price but the chromed brass might be a bit of a turn off for some folk ... your suggestion about an ss version sounds good.

ive just heard that a SS version will be available soon

regarding the circuitry, ive heard several people say that it actually uses the same electronics as the V2 version of the Zmax.....might just be rumours though?

After trying this, I've realised I never need a provari. I know that may upset people but its just the way it is. Basically £20 for a well made vv/vw it works a treat and feels as solid as a rock. In single 18350 mode it's a nice size etc etc etc. the only thing it doesn't have is the styling and the name. But I could own 10 of these for the price of a single provari. It is also vw which the provari isn't.

As a new Provari owner it doesn't upset me. Go for it and enjoy!

I think it looks an absolute bargain. Regarding Provari comparisons, maybe I will wait until people report on dropping the thing a few times. One thing the Provari still has which is a USP is the constant power delivery through battery life - at the moment - and a decent, legal warranty.
