What's new

Hi new to sub ohming....having issues mixing with everythingliquid.co.uk juice

Evening again mate, sorry kid bedtime etc. 28mg,even in the nautilus is pretty full on! Yes, exactly what you said. try it without nic first of all and see if it is that that is making it harsh. Just grabbing a cuppa and some food and will have another read in a sec.

Hello @Jay1986 ,nice to meet you Mate!!!
Hi dude, thanks for the welcome. Real friendly bunch round here :)

Many of the best juices out there use Capella and FlavorArt flavourings. There are a few other flavouring companies out there too but to me Capella and FA are two of the big boys.

As you said, narrowing down your ingredients to find out what is making it taste rank is the right way to go. With all those mixes tasting bad then it does sound like it might be the VG or PG but they are pretty inert substances. Are they clear? Do they smell at all? If not then I would be surprised if they were tainting your juice flavour at all. As you said before, do a mix of 50/50 PG and VG only and see how that tastes. The add some nic to it to make is 6MG and see how that vapes.

You are mixing at 10% flavouring, which is relatively low so can't see that it is these (especially as using a range) that are making the juice harsh - sounds more likely to be the nic so have a test and see.

I must say you are a rare one vaping at 28mg, that is very full on nic, even in a Nautilus! Just to double check, are you aware of the nic limit of 18mg coming in from May? Time to work to reduce your nic level or invest in a freezer and a shit load of nic if you can't face dropping down, let us know if you are unaware and will post more info.

If you find it is the nic that is making the juice taste bad then let us know and we tend to recommend Dark Star.

Yeah I smoke it all day too as I'm not working the now...cant put it down, it was a bit of a crash off of about 30 roll ups a day. Thanks for the vendor info, it's made things real simple. I'll buy from them, I've also heard that darkstar are good. As for the pg and vg they look clear,. I'm gonna try to cut down on the nicotine and move to the sub ohm @3mg nic, but I think I still need that 28mg nautilus handy through the whole process. I didn't mention I had to return the kangertech cause it wouldn't charge so I'm waiting a few days for that atm. I'll buy enough premixed tomorrow to last me for a while until I can order from these vendors and get up and running.

I heard something about the law changing on nicotine strength actually in a vape shop last week but that's for premixed juice as far as I'm aware. I mean I'm mixing my own so shouldn't think this should be problem. I really appreciate your input here, and I'll let you know how I get on with the everything liquid stuff

It definitely will affect you @Jay1986 - the regulation isn't just for shop bought juice, it is for all nicotine containing liquid so if you home mix and are used to 72mg base then you won't be able to get it from UK sellers after May 2017. It freezes well though so lots of us have stuck a few litres in the freezer, if you shift down to 3mg a few litres will last you a good few years for not a huge investment.

FA & Capella & DarkStar are all good. The Mix Shop also worth checking. Learning curve and all that. You'll get there. [emoji106]

Yeah dude I just mixed some pg/vg and it vaped fine, but added the nic and it killed it. The nicotine smells strongly of fish and chemicals not sure if this is normal. I'm asking to return it and for a refund though...I've developed a cough since vaping this stuff last week too...

No mate, not normal and not good. That sounds like some shit nic... Get some in from Darkstar, you should be fine with that. Thanks for letting us know what the problem was!
