Hi just a quick introduction. I am a long time vaper but basically had a run with mouth to lung ecigs for a year or 2 until I purchased an Ijust 2. And found sub ohm was for me.
I had it around 6 months until my wife got me a Pico with a melo 2 mini tank. I used that for like 2 years broke about 7 glasses in that time. But it was a really good little mod. I dropped it in a whole bucket of plaster at work took it out and ran it under a tap and it still worked after drying out. But I decided for a change and I had decided on a smok alien with a baby beast tank. I ended up ordering the wrong one and got a T priv. I decided to keep it as I had broken my glass again on my pico. I'm not too impressed to be honest. The first 2 coils (Q2 tpd) gave me bad dry hits with only like 3 second pull at 38 watts. I'm sure the added metal causes wicking problems as bubbles get caught in front of the wick ports.
Anyway so I got some t8 coils and they are better (so far) ..
I have one issue though. In the time it took to get my new coils delivered I put my broken melo tank on the t priv. I didn't realise how bad it would leak out the bottom but pretty much 2 or 3 ml of juice leaked and went inside the mod. It got in through the gold pin I'm sure of it. I turned it on and got "check battery" and when plugged in the right hand battery indicator was flashing 99% 89% 78% 99%, I swapped the battery's round and the same right hand side was flashing. So I stripped it down as much as I could (can't get the top screen off I don't want to damage it I think it's glued) and juice was covered under the plastic on the white light defuser thing. I took it all apart cleaned it and kind of prised open one side of the top panel and left it by a heater to dry off.
I tested it and after a few hours drying it worked. Until this morning. I charged it a bit (maybe 45 mins) took it out n when I tried to turn it on. Check battery again. I've done same thing stripped it down n left top open. But I'm sure there's juice touching one of the battery connectors but I'm no expert. I got no idea if it'll always do this now? I've had it working fine for like 8 hours after I stripped it. Anyway sorry for the huge post I don't know how better to describe my problem??
Regards, Bish
